Have I posted this before...

I can't remember, but I don't care. Seems relevant right now to me.
See, I get into these weird food things every now and then, and I tend to eat the same thing everyday, until I overdose on it then leave it alone for a long time, sometimes years!
Anyway, Ritz cracker fluffernutters seem to be the "bad food" of choice these days.
Almost every day, like clockwork, 3:30 or so, I brew a hot cuppa NUMI Jasmine green tea, ( the best tea in the world IMO), and 6 Ritz cracker monstrosities of peanut butter and marshmallow whip junk food frenzy to snack on while I finish up my latest project or do resume send outs.

Pavlovian to be sure. Bad food for you to be double sure. (though the peanut butter isn't really that bad for you. But I seem to have lost 4 pounds over the past 2 weeks. What's up with that?)

The logical fairy inside me informs me it's my small meal noshing thru the day that did it. And cereal. I eat cereal for meals sometimes.
So that wacky Special K ad for a cereal diet is onto something!
But something else in me wants to say it was the Fluffernutter that did it. Magical, sticky, fluffy puffs of white pillowy goodness. I have a licking fetish developing I think. (Not entirely a bad thing to some people in my life to be sure..)

ohhhhhh me start over...waaaaaaayyyyyyy over.....

This won't hurt a BIT!

And it didn't! Today I went to GEEZE LOUISE COFFEE HOUSE that is down a few
blocks from me to visit with my pal Misun Oh ,who happens to be
doing acupuncture there every Friday from noon to 1:30 or so. I have been a bit
on edge lately so she did a special treatment to help release some of the stress.
NICE eh?
NOW I look like a REAL punk...hee hee

It's a way cool place with way cool staff and customers. Wi-Fi too.
I had a soothing green tea. I didn't know they had sammiches and stuff so next
Friday I just may swing by for some snax and needles!

Misun is shown here with her book of fun sticking points and needle magic.
What a doll!!! When I was in hospital a few years back she kindly came over and did
a back treatment.SO it's so cool she can help with stress too.
I look like a little pin cushion..in fact the whole half of the shop looked like
the planet of pin-cushion people. Hee Hee.

On the whole, today was a "Get out of the apartment before you
strangle someone" day. I was starting to talk to my stuff and when the puppets
were answering me back...well I knew it was time to GET OUT.......NOW!
NOT a good thing.

Enjoy your weekend, and Beaujolais Day! WOOT!

Overcast Saturday

not quite sold on this one but....I'm letting it slide for now...

What a fun day! I got my latest MIGHTY LEAF Tea samples in and they are,WOOT!, my faves... LOOSE GREEN TEAS!!
YEAH! Finally...the first one is Organic Lu An Gua Pian from the Anhui province of China. Wow is this one rich and has a long history
going back to the TANG dynasty ( No silly, NOT the orange breakfast drink of the
astronauts)Very, very smooth and mellow, touch of sweet..I'm digging this one ALOT!
Remember that goofy comic I did about teas a while back...I thought of that
while I was brewing this one..

I also got a sample of Organic Earl Green, sencha leaves with a touch of citrusy bergamot.
Not sampled yet, but if the way it smells is any indication I know I'm gonna dig on this one too!
I like loose teas, I get to play with my tea stuff , make my own bags,( the leaves are long, it's like making a tea joint...lol) and have a little tea party in my head...zone out for a while and umm...dream of Jet Li...
tee hee.
