Funky!

when I cut my boards down to fit to my scanner, I get these little strips..rather
than toss them out, as I am wont to do to ANY piece of blank scrap paper,I draw
all over them, THEN toss them out.
How goofy , no, maybe anal, of me... anyway, here is 'funky reggae party- strip'
drawn while listening to Bob Marley of course! This is how I used to draw when I
was all of 5,funny how I can conjure that style up at a moments
notice.I like big nosed animals.

So Flogging Molly will be playing here at Red Rocks on Saturday.
Sadly , no money means no tickets. Ahhh what ya gonna do?
Anway I'm sure it will be loads of fun. Never been to Red Rocks
but I am told it's spectacular.

Off to do more cleaning up in my studio.I seem to do
reverse seasonal cleaning. Fall , not Spring.

NINE NINE NINE!

Opens today! I loved the movie short (found on you tube and other sources
10 minutes long and cool!)

Also I heard something about some old band from the 60's and 70's release
of remastered albums in mono and stereo today ..and some ROCK BAND game
with them in it too..but honestly, who would be interested in some
oldies band from England..I can't seem to recall their name but they had,
like odd haircuts and made a few movies too..so if you google ,I'm sure
you might scare something up about them....I think one of them is a
vegetarian or something...

And tits and all in that wretched piece of wonderment that ran
in the 70's (Is it still?)

ALL this reflection was due to Pearls Before Swines depiction of the nekkid
little "Love IS" chick in Stephans strip..his report ,no complaints at all..
and he pointed out if he had done it with one of his modern characters you'd be
sure he'd hear about it.

Which leads me to this....me, sitting at my desk the other day,
removing all the little tiny pen swipes that indicated
that yes, the women in my strip had BREASTS.....
and most likely wore sheer bras, or no bras at all in the case
of a Twiggy like build. AND most likely it was CHILLY in my strips.

Thank Buddha for white out,and photo shop,else I'd be
sitting with a jar full of X-acto bladed out pen swipes
ala' "Beetle Bailey- Miss Buxleys belly button jar".

Now I must go.......I think one of the girls put on too tight
jeans............
