Yum! Saturday night fun!

Le Central Restaurant 112 East 8th ave, Denver . I have never had a bad meal here,
and it's sooo cheap for a French place..hee hee.. If you go on Thursdays it's usually
souffle night!

Today was a bit of a drag, even though I wizzed thru inking my new comic, the new glasses
are not what I expected. Too much of a head turn and everything goes wonky and curvy.
Bi-focals suck ass.

Off to deal, my back and right arm have decided today was as good as any to
conk out on me.

Ya, well I was spring cleaning and got a bee up my butt to clean out the
cabinet and organize everything.For some reason I feel a lot better and calmer
after a major overhaul cleaning in my apartment.

next up: The Kitchen, then the hallway closet!

* mid day update- 1/4 done. my computer desk is sparkling too.
only thing is, in Denver it's so dusty that by tomorrow there will
be a soft dusting of ick everywhere. sigh



SPRING CLEANING IS HERE.
Also I think I'm ready to sell my
PEZ. Give me a shout out.

THOSE drawers...

Today was a perfect day to tackle some around the pad cleaning.
(see photo on left) Anyway, in cleaning I ran across one of
THOSE drawers, you know what i mean. The "catch all weird sorts of crap
who knows what it's for junk drawer" Everyone has one,you know, filled
with old matchbooks, coasters, various receipts to various things,
twist ties,broken pens you one day will "fix", guitar picks, old remotes to
who knows what, batteries,
empty keyrings, little rubber finger puppets...(o.k maybe be not
everyone will have little rubber finger puppets), old baggies that had
who knows what in them,yadda yadda. I ask myself now ,why do I even SAVE stuff
like that with the thoughts of "I may NEED that someday"?
I tossed 99 % of it.

Most places have ONE drawer like that....I found I have several, in every room.

It's going to be a long Sunday...

After the storm...

Upended the living room , full of boxes I'm going thru for the big toy
show..sigh...Now I'm digging into my studio going thru the
ton of art supplies, sketchbooks and crap I seem to have
accumulated over the years.
Hmm snow and rain..mild as it may be seems to be headed this
way. Oh joy! Off for fun my lovelies.


Oh yeah, guess who called ,BEGGING me to take him back...yah..
Dang, now I have to decide....Poor Eric, what a sweet guy.

What the hell did I do today?

Well, this for one:


I scraped off the ton of grime and dust..( don't worry, Denver is so dusty
there will be a fine layer by end of next week..lol),
tossed a bunch of crap, put toys away..and in general, made it workable again!
also did the Second to the last bookcase:

put away toys or put them in the "Sell it " pile.
now only my art supply shelves and one more bookcase and the studio is done...
tons of papers to go thru, sort all the medical billing crud...yadda yadda...
can you tell I'm at least being constructive in my unemployed stage?
Also went and traded in a bunch of CD's for some new listening!
Yeah no money spent!

now if someone can tell me why my 'puter mouse is acting all funny all of
a sudden..........
