Sorry for no posts to my handful of readers. Some major health crisis has hit the Leidy Clan, and until that get's calmed down I may not be posting much for the next few weeks.
Though coming out of it now, my Dad's recent heart surgery really put a fear into us there for a few days. We almost lost him! But seem's hes out of the woods now.
No more Hash Browns Dad. Sorry! And by the way, the drugs they have you on are making you even MORE hysterical if you can believe that. My favorite so far is: " I know that's not really there , but can you move it anyway?

...the smooth vocal stylings, your looks combined with lyrical genius. The way you spoke to all those unsatisfied,frustrated teens looking for someone that understood their devastating lost loves, crushes, desires...whatever it is, you got it..and I am sending you a virtual Happy Birthday. You are on my Desert Island list, and that is a bigger compliment than any ol' cheezy award on some awards show anyday in my book.
The times I got to see him live in concert were some of the best shows, of course all the flying flowers, glitter gold lame' shirts, drunk crying desperate young men crashing through the crowds to get his attention and touch his hand..all part of the full effect that should be experienced at least once in your life. You feel the crazy love the second the show starts. Love you.

Tackling Illustrator program.( hence the lack of pithy posts) How I yearn for the "old design days" but I suppose one must really roll with the changes. Plus some weird health stuff rolling by as well. Honestly, why does 'lack of sleep" have to be part of most changes in life? (Though the 10 pd.loss /side effect was most welcome.)

It's been SUCH a shit-tacular week I decided we need to dance a bit to shake off the doom and earthquakey gloom that has overtaken me. So DANCE MY ASS OFF DAY is hereby decreed!
I'm also fighting the start of the bug that is going around my pals, laying waste to everyone in it's path. Piping hot bowls of PHO is prescribed.
I'm also staring at some computer books dedicated to teaching me Illustrator and Photoshop in 24 hrs. I am holding them to it. MY pens taunt me though, easier and less stressful. I'm all A.D.D. when it comes to computer crap. But I will persevere!
