long day...back to Godzilla....bye!

No I didn't forget..I just..just...

....got distracted. So many things going on. One of which is, I got a little ol'
part time job. Not much but, meh. So there's that, which I think I mentioned before.(An that's all I'm gonna say..)

Spending more time painting lately is a bit of a web suck as well. But most of all..some health issues cropped up recently. Nothing to serious, but distracting enough.
See this "back thing" I have seems to have migrated to my upper back and neck now. Not totally unbearable, but enough that I am
going to a Dr. and doing the ol X-ray thing to see just what in 'tarnation is going on with my bad self. I think working on stuff hour after hour isn't helping the fact, but as paraphrasing a certain someone: "you can have my paintbrush when you tear it from my dead cold hands"...or something like that. But dang I look smashing lately..
BWahaha

Yes my dears, that's right..it's SHARK WEEK NEXT WEEK!!!!! WOOOOOT!

Well another Shark Week has come and gone...time to put away
the decorations and frivolity....it was fun...

In other news Denver Post announced the annual Comics Poll.
You know the useless easily padded results driven poll
papers tend to do in a misguided attempt to cut costs.
And in the doing so cut readership. Always the really good strips
get cut and the same ol boring legacy strips seem to hang around...
SIGH,same ol same...when are they going to learn?
What struck me as extra funny was Stephan Pastis's strip today
was on that very subject! Hmmm ironic?

I myself have never tried Fugu,and I want to, I hear if done right
a nice slight tingling ,and numbing in your mouth occurs...
if done wrong..I think you have like a minute to get
to the hospital before you are writhing on the ground
paralyzed and foaming at the mouth like a rabid circus clown.

Last night there was a doc. on AIR SHARKS...hee hee... great whites that fly
out of the air to grab seals. Gee ya learn more about these bastids every year!
It was pretty cool footage.Graceful in a way. Bad for seals, great for sharks.

I'm learning all about the best way to get out of a sticky situation
should I ever come face to face with one....umm, being LANDLOCKED
the chances are slim to none, but dang if I ain't READY just in case!

My closest danger aquatic adventure I ever had was, while living in Florida
oh so many years ago, we would sometimes go snorkeling out on Red Reef key are in Boca I think..anyway...There I am a floating on my tummy, face down in the water, just enjoying the cute little fishies when...a giant patch of DARKNESS swims under me..I felt a bit lifted,,,so fast but...it was a giant Manta RAy swimming underneath me..oh so gracefully and
later I find..not as safe as ya'd thing...



Saw Batman today with my darling niece..run don't walk to see it..it's SOOOOOO Cool in IMAX! Got a bit dizzy at some scenes..but man was it a fun movie..and yes very dark..and yes...it's a fucking shame that Heath is gone..cuz he totally blew me away, and I am stingy with acting praise...


still hot, work tomorrow, off to pretend to write pithy, funny dialogue.
