The most wonderful day of the week. Well, o.k maybe not THAT wonderful ,but still

Brain fog is a nice new thing. I think it hits when you achieve , like, level 8 on the
"lack of sleep " scale. I have a friend that suffer insomnia constantly, I honestly have NO idea how she does it. Kudos to you missy, kudos.

Strange things indeed afoot..of the mystical kind. From two different sources too!
Well so far this year has gotten off to a bang ! A long lost friend from my past contacted me
just as my yearly horrorscope predicted, not that I believe in that sort of thing mind you, but hokey smokes! It predicted more than one and in the past 5 days I have been contacted by 2. In the past 4 months? No less than 5. Now if George Clooney calls I really AM gonna have to pay more attention to the mystical side of life!

Man, am I a grumpy Gus these days. Lack of sleep will destroy you faster than anything. No wonder they use sleep deprivation as means of torture. I am a tad to grumpy to be socially interacting with ANYONE these days, so I use that as an excuse to be the super anti-social butterfly that I am.

Side notes, me sitting here in my studio with my window wide open and it's like, 28 degrees outside. Does THAT tell you anything about my condition?
Though I've been feeling a bit manic lately, I thought I would be channeling my energy into more painting, not more grousing and gnashing of teeth!


( Great side note, I have now lost so much weight that my little cute plaid punk skirt circa 1991 that I use to wear is now officially too big ! So besides that kinda happy fact, I now have nothing to wear on my rare forays out to the goth club...sigh... I realize all my pals in Atlanta might not recognize me,since when I moved from there I was about 70 pds. (or possibly more )heavier..tee hee...though I don't know how much good that is if I'm dead from exhaustion..but I will make a lovely corpse..Bwahaha)

Ventured out socially for the first time in 2 weeks last night. Anxiety always hits me before stuff like that ,but it always ends up lovely and me wondering what I was so worried about.
Being among pals, with good food and laughs is always a great 'cheer-upper' thing.

Actually this series I'm embarking on is a bit different for me. I'm actually researching this topic heavily. And while it's always interesting to see what the experts say about relationships, and while they do go thru stages of some kind or another, I prefer to not anticipate, but rather let it grow
organically. Always a surprise in store that way, eh? I always got into trouble when I started to over analyze things in the past.

Secret confession though, I Do kinda like flowers and a smattering of treacly writing every now and then to keep me engaged.( or revved up enuff to jump his bones)

(But don't get me started how revved up I can get after a gift of a Godzilla figurine.)

Hiatus over?

O.K so there's a new CAFE NEUROTIC comic posted at webegirls.
I took an extended hiatus from the strip due to several circumstances, one of which was the good ol: " I ran out of ideas and anything to say".
But encouragement from friends , long winding thoughts , a new pen nib, some new grounds made in dealing with some health issues ( back related)...refreshing myself with months of painting instead of comics, and something NEW to write about ( Hi new relationship dude!), have all merged into the piece of work you can view now.

Now to see if it sticks.

I guess I am on a new journey. With my inner self and with my dude. I couldn't be more excited. ON so many levels too. The cuteness, it hurts. :D

died a slow painful death. ( as are newspapers..sigh), I am going the self publishing route again. Wait for some fun news and an exciting way for YOU to get in on the action!

Boy oh Boy..

..am I behind! I didn't mean to,
but the days got away from me. That's what happens when you have to readjust your
day to fit going INTO work. Changing sleep hours, when you eat etc...all bug me
for a few weeks until I acclimate. This also seems to include posting on a blog.

Here's a comic thing to look at. Have I posted that before?
Sorry I don't have anything else to show ,but right now is my character designs for
a Graphic Novel or a new comic strip series I have percolating in my widdle
brain-pan. EXCITING!

Also the book I did illustrations for, is going to press by next week if all goes well.
So at least there will be THAT little item for those of you needing a "PATTY " fix.
Update as I get more info on release date and ordering information.

Off to doodle and goof around. YAY for goofing!
