Changing habits

I really need to stop doing certain things in my life...and start
developing better habits all around.
It's not helping my comic quest much.
Not that I'm doing anything totally destructive
to myself...but some of it ..well isn't very cool.

I've been invited to participate in Meiningers Art Supply stores
upcoming Comic panel discussion and demo day in late Oct.
I think John Porcellino( King Cat Comics) is going to be there too...
So i'm going to request that day off at work..I think it will be
good for me to be around other cartooninst...
Mark B. is just too far away for us to have our old
weekly "coffee and 'toonin' nights , like we used to do
way back when in the stone age in Atlanta.....

Cheers my loves....

You should come back to Atlanta (err...Alpharetta) and have ice cream and fingerpaintin' nights at my place. haha Alexandria is quite the little artist. We were tempra painting the other day and her picture turned out better than mine. :( Stupid crayola makes good crayons but their paints and paintbrushes suck. I'd like a nice acrylic paint set but I have no idea where to go for art stuff around here (and I'm kinda low in the money department).

$1600 car repairs for starters (haha I sound like YOU now) and I STILL need new tires on top of that. The condo costs more than I anticipated. The mortgage payment is reasonable but then property taxes here are ridiculous and I owe my mom money on top of that, etc, etc. Yeah I thought I was gonna be "rich" too. No big HD LCD TV for me anytime soon. :(

You should get John and some other local cartoonists and have some Cartoon Nights. Cheer up that poor guy, his wife's going to Korea for three weeks, he'll need some cheering.
