green beans ,with mushrooms and kale sauteed, with grated Parmesan cheese on top,
creamed pearl onions, apple,cranberry, sausage stuffing, sweet potato brule, mashed potatoes, sage dressing (so rich you only needed a dab..)
sauteed brussel sprouts with leeks, ummm,lets see..oh orange cranberry sauce. And
for dessert ,pecan ,apple, and apple cranberry pies.
assorted wines, cocktails...and scallops,dill gruyerer cheese apps.

Hit the ol' Target this morning after all...surprisingly fast ..found what I needed and in and out in mere minutes. Sadly for them it was NOT a mad house. Lot's of staff available to help .One of them told me it was a rush at 5 a.m but real fast.
OH well, the 3 buck crock pots sold out ,but I didn't REALLY need one.But I did see
alot of people with big screen t.vs and those Casio Keyboards.

AS bad as my unemployment has been..I DO NOT miss working retail during the holidays.
It really wrecked my spirit, or what spirit I HAD for anything holiday related.
NOW I just celebrate winter solstice it seems. I feel better with that anyway.

I got my blue lights, I got my hot tea, I got my mojo back.
What more do I need?
