Woot! How bout some retro 80's style...I'm digging it!
Hope you had a spiffy weekend and holiday. BBQ went well. today was make Japanese food day! I made my first batch of Inarizushi -sushi in a bean bag. Fried Tofu , which makes these skins you can pull open and you stuff sushi rice and what not into them. I made sushi rice for the first time and it was pretty dang good. There's more steps to prep than that,but I'm not going to go into it here. I also made salmon and stuffed some of them with that too. Hey I had time to kill on cooking for 2 hrs. hee hee.. Anyway it was fun....Now what do I do with all this leftover rice... hee hee

O.K ..for the curious ,here ya go...first my bluelines...I switched from heavy pencils.It's cleaner and a timer saver,but I'm finding that my scanner even is picking up the blueline.
and the finished piece...I do stay pretty close to my roughs. Well THAT was fun........

Did I post this yet? It's all a blur..... Hope your weekend was fun. I saw Star Trek yesterday,and BOY was it fun! The franchise is back baby..I wanted it to go on some MORE! But then, I AM a queen GEEK for that kinda stuff. So if you haven't seen it yet, and miss the old Star Trek gang, check it out.

Late addition. Monkey Brains Oatmeal sent me a whole ding-dang box of the stuff! WOOT! Now I will be set for a while until they get it back into Whole Foods. Maybe if we ALL go over and bug them about it they will get it in faster.. Anyway the good folks at Monkey Brains have granola coming out too.so that should be yummy. Hell it took me years to get into oatmeal..so I'm happy to get the ONE kind that I dig back in my life...hee hee..and HELL..its got MONKEYS on it so how fun is that!?
