An incredible writer. I got to meet him once at an event. He was so charming,unassuming
modest,and friendly. He signed books to me, and expressed a wish that

It's SNOW BATS!

Well it LOOKS like snow bats. It's such fat ,crazy flying around
snow chunks that it COULD be snow bats! I decree it as such.

Back from hospital visit. I DO have photos but my better judgement
tells me NOT to publish such fascinating gruesome fare.
They took the bandages off Mom and the combo of her now fluid filled
back eye mixed with her stapled together head and dried blood hair
(what didn't get shaved off..)makes for a heady froth of
'ERKKK" when you see her. If you desire so , I can email it to you,
just ask.....bwahhah
I'm pretty psyched, they may be sending her home as early as tomorrow or
Sunday, she's doing so well!

Again,obviously no comics this week. But I have a good excuse.

Well I think the worse is over. Mom's surgery took 11 hours...and lots
of suction..haha
Anyway Sis and I spent all day there so it was a realllllll longgggg day...
She's in intensive care and responding to motion requests...so, so far so good!
Yeah MOMMY!!!

Bzzzzzzzzz

Tomorrow , TUESDAY, my Mother will be undergoing surgery
on her brain to remove a tumor.
Of course we're all a bit nervous about it..but
the Dr.s assure us it should go smoothly.
Myself, I don't pray ..but
any good thoughts you might have are greatly appreciated.
Should be around an 6 to 8 hr. surgery.Mindful distractions
are greatly appreciated.

I'll keep ya posted...

There might not be much next week. My family is getting ready for
some MAJOR surgery my mom is getting on Tuesday. It's a ten hour brain surgery
argg...I don't think it's gonna take THAT long but I think that's possible
length it could take.

I am planning on trying to post from the hospital then
if I can find some free wi-fi for my iPod touch.

sigh.almost. I gave up and hooked up one of my old scanners.
The new one just didn't seen to be getting the greytones of the
pencils and I'm tired and out of time to mess with it too much
more.
Anyone a killer with mac stuff out there?Scanners and such...lol

Here's a funny thing; The smoke alarms went off in our building at
4 a.m..right outside my door. Me and my next door neighbor were the ONLY one's to open our doors to see if indeed a fire was blazing somewhere.After discerning that it was just a bad battery, we disabled them and went back to bed.
not before decreeing that if indeed it was an actual fire, I was endowed with the power of a Goddess , deciding whose door to knock on and who would be left to be devoured by the flames. O.k not really but ,seriously, wouldn't YOU check to make sure
it wasn't an actual fire? Lazy asses.

computer. Of COURSE I run into snags and have to call in the
reinforcements.
Everything should be right as rain after Saturday What
looks easy usually turns up some issues of incompatibility.
