DONE! Finally!

I get antsy when it takes me a few weeks to finish a work.

Must be the ADD in me.

I notice I have for the most part,  blown off my blog for the 

greener pastures of the fast and flippant facebook. Not that there's anything

really bad about that, just I seem to not have much to say on here that warrants 

that much space. Short and sweet, that's me. 

Too much fun stuff going on, as well as not so much fun stuff ,but no less 

fulfilling.

Anyway...how was YOUR day dear? As you can see, I have been having a hella' time slinging

the ol' paint brush around. Oil is a whole new ballgame for me, and a challenge at times,but worth it.

I kind of melt into the colors sometimes and forget myself , but that's part of the journey.

Sharky Fun continues!

Not much going on actually. Shark Week dominates things on the entertainment front for the most part.

Photographing my work for making prints to sell. So if there is any particular one you felt spoke to you, let me know!

Job hunting continues with the realization I really want to do something different ,like a monkey tamer or a top notch private eye! I think I might just end up settling for the same ol' same, but you never know!

 IT'S SHARK WEEK!

Whew! Nearly wet my panties there for a second! the carnage, the mayhem, the bloodbath of mother natures strongest !  It's all good. Besides , it will take my mind off of some particularly tuff things I have been dealing with now. Hard and a blessing at the same time. I love the duality of it all.

I'm so slow...

..but it's a good thing....Fine art takes time. Or is it wine? I can't remember. Either way I'm all loopy from the fumes of creativity!
So apologies to my five readers for my lack of posting, once again. My brain has shut off and seems to be entirely devoting itself to colors, flow, mixing, brushes, angst, sweat and inspiration. And the occasional noodle bowl and hobnobbing with good friends and my muse.

WHAT THE WHAT ?

It started out as a slight tingle in all of my limbs. Then, a slow 'antsy" crawling heebie jeebie feeling.
Then, the 'jimmy legs' start on a twitching throughout my body, and I know another bout of  "What the fuck" is about to begin begins.  Futile efforts to calm oneself enuff to hold the paint brush let alone THINK about a subject drive one to desperate measures...
Inspiration and calming effects are todays and future days goals.

That and sell a few of the bastards!

for a few weeks now I have been experiencing such a wave of "something BIG is about to happen" in the air it's made me anxious. I wonder what it could be.. how exciting, good or bad.

BOY was that a fun show last night.

Jimmy Cliff was so lively and had us all dancing and singing along. No one wanted him to stop. Even in the sweltering heat of the Ogden Theater, everyone demanded more, and he delivered. 

Nice way to ring in my ..umm 39th birthday. Yes. That's it.
