alot done today. I accept that. easy projects, errands are the order of the day.

New music as well. Traded in old cd's for new.Even trades are the best!
Got Nick Caves new group Grinderman 2 and a classic, Gary Numans, Tubeway Army.

It's a good day.
And as Miss Jane pointed out in her blog post today , tomorrow starts NABLOPOMO month.

(As well as NANOWRIMO month). Looks to be a busy month... I was thinking of decreeing it "National COMIC STRIP A DAY MONTH" (NACOSTMO)....but, all my cartoonist pals already do that!

what attempts, if any I make towards any of these projects is up in the air. We'll see, won't we?

Well, since there were a ton of people at the show last night filming and photographing him, you'd THINK something decent would have ended up on youtube by now. But, nahhhhh! So here's a " it was sorta like this" someone made of the tour elsewhere.
Had lots of fun, balcony seat,and umm..*coff coff* Gary's wife was standing next to me for a good chunk of the show taking photos.
Nice lady,obviously MAD for her man and proud as shite! Briefly chatted , I did not push a meet and greet..been there, done that.
Of course hearing the Pleasure Principle in its entirety was cool, I REALLY got a kick out of the newer ,darker stuff...way fun!

must go nap now...punky patty is not as resilient as she once was for "almost late" nights.

FINALLY I get a chance to see Gary Numan tonight! I missed my chance so many times back in the 80's,
so it's a good "make up" night. Ya never know when the chance will come again.
He's gonna do the entire Pleasure Principle album. Woot! Gettin' my 80's back on man!

EGGzactly

I have all but given up eating eggs. Almost every time I do, I find myself sick for most of the day. Finding the freshest eggs possible with no 'additives" and possibility of contamination, or chemicals has gotten so difficult. I then started to rely on "organic free range" eggs from "happy chickens" (if you can determine a chicken is happy, let me know..)
Now that THAT is even in question now, and not being able to go to farmers markets year round now, getting a list of TRUE organic ,free range farms has become my quest. Granted you pay more for safe,quality chemical free food, I ask, WHY are we having to do that? Shudder.........oh this conversation could go on all day..we know the answers...so , why isn't anyone fixing it faster?

BOWIE!

Not that I will be able to get the new box set that came out for a while but here's the opening from the famed 3/23/76 Nassau Coliseum concert...mind blowing,you can feel the electricity when he walks onto the stage.(Viewing footage of this tour is highly recommended.)
Back in high school there was a gaggle of us gals that were Bowie freaks. Guess I never stopped loving him. I have even forgiven the sad show I saw back in the 90's (Glass Spiders tour ..off night?)

Much fun was had

by all...at my show opening! Huzzah! Drinks, visits, sales, alot of cool pals,friends old and new, etc.etc. showed up.
MUCH thanks to Geez Louise Coffehouse for hosting. The show will be up all month and if ya venture in an want to buy something
for a super holiday present, I wouldn't mind.. tee hee

Now for recovery at my studio and clean up.
Surprisingly I have three coffins left still...so who want's one?

It's not in color but......
Slamming on rounding the corner for my show on Friday so this will have to do...
I got it into my nutty head to make Day of the Dead stuff to sell as well..sigh
I always do last minute stuff,and it usually ends up being better than the other stuff. hee hee

but then again..that's why you love me. Right?
I do have a good excuse. I have been productive as all get out,and hope the fruits of my
labour will prove that. Also today marks the start of my favorite month. AND it's
10/01/10. How fun is that?

Also we start my salute to BATS. todays bat is an Egyptian Fruit Bat. What a cute lil' guy eh?
